The Administrative Data Liaison Service (ADLS)

The Administrative Data Liaison Service (ADLS) is funded by the ESRC to support administrative data based research in the UK. The ADLS provides information on administrative data resources in the UK (including access procedures) and guidance to use administrative data in a legal, ethical and secure manner. The ADLS also provides services to both academic researchers and data holding organisations including training to use administrative data responsibly, disclosure risk analysis and a dedicated helpdesk to assist with administrative data related enquiries. Dr Chris Dibben, University of St Andrews is the Director of the ADLS.
