Workshop on agent-based modelling of international migration

25 - 27 September 2013 - A workshop to review and discuss what is known about decisions to emigrate, and agent-based modeling of international migration, was held at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR), Rostock, Germany.

Organised by the MPIDR and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Care Life Cycle project (CLC), the ultimate aim of the workshop and modeling the emigration decision was to improve predictive modeling of international migration.

Speakers included CPC members Jakub Bijak, James Raymer, and many others from eminent research centres across Europe.
