  • Association of Occupational Pensions (ABA) Annual Conference

    7-8 May 2015 - Professor Traute Meyer was a keynote speaker at this annual conference, which was held at the Hotel Maritime, Berlin, Germany.

    Professor Meyer discussed the architecture of a sustainable future system of retirement in her keynote speech, which was followed by a talk from the German Minister for Employment and Social Affairs, Andrea Nahles.

    The Arbeitsgemeinschaft für betriebliche Altersversorgung (ABA) conference was well-attended with around 800 delegates and 40 speakers. It aimed to answer key questions such as; what plans do the German federal government have in place when it comes to pension? How do you design future-proof pension systems? And what is the ABA reform model for company pension schemes?
