  • CPC proudly sponsors PopFest 2016

    CPC is pleased to announce that it will once again provide supplementary support for the annual population postgraduate conference 'PopFest'.

    This year's conference will take place at the University of Manchester, a fitting venue as the home of The Cathie Marsh Institute for Social Research. The call for abstracts is open until 31st March and registration is open until 20th May. Find out more on the conference webpage.

    PopFest is an annual Population Studies conference for postgraduate students, organised by fellow postgraduates in conjunction with the British Society for Population Studies. Teresa McGowan, CPC Research Manager commented 'Since we were founded CPC has been committed to capacity building and support for the training of the next generation of population scientists. Contributing annually to the PopFest conference is always a rewarding experience and helps us stay connected with researchers of tomorrow. We look forward to a lively and welcoming conference in June'.
