International students in the UK

CPC is pleased to announce the publication of the 2017 Survey of Graduating International Students Technical Report, which forms part of the Office for National Statistics quarterly migration release today (Thursday, 24th August 2017).

The online survey collected detailed information from international students in UK higher education during their final year of study in 2017. The report provides valuable information about the post-study intentions of international students, the certainty of these intentions, their travel patterns, use of public services, and working patterns whilst studying.

The project is a result of a collaboration between CPC, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and Universities UK.

Some initial analysis of the data is available in our latest briefing paper. Further analysis of the survey results and findings will follow in the weeks to come.
