    New issue of Changing Populations

The latest issue of the CPC-CG newsletter magazine, Changing Populations, is now published.

In the 12th issue, we explore the impact of the Brexit referendum on EU migration to the UK, the role of personal networks in asylum seekers' choice of country, and the potential of migration in building resilient labour markets in Europe. We also shed light on enduring racism in British society, and highlight some of our research on depopulation and displacement in Ukraine.

This issue also includes findings on the genetic variants influencing human fertility, the effects of the cost-of-living crisis, and how digital communications strengthened family ties during the pandemic. We have been busy sharing our research with Ministers on menopause in the workplace, as well as the pioneering work taking place in the new Intergenerational Living Innovation Hub.

As well as teaching materials for schools on global migration patterns, we’ve also included links to our latest webinar recordings, and you can find out more about some of our team and their achievements in the researcher spotlight.

We hope you enjoy reading it and welcome your feedback and questions about our research. Subscribe to the newsletter and view past issues.
