Here are some of the media activities CPC members have contributed to over the last few months. You can now also view CPC media coverage on our new Scoop.it! page 'Population change in the news':

CPC members have been prolific in contributing to media coverage on issues surrounding the Scottish independence referendum, with Professor David Bell contributing to articles such as The Scotsman's analysis of The economy of Scottish independence, Scotland's richest get richer as age gap widens, and The Times Scotland article Separate Scotland 'could delay pension age rise by 12 years'.

Professor Bell was also interviewed for a BBC2 Scotland referendum documentary Scotland's top ten battlegrounds.

Professor Robert Wright was quoted in a Telegraph article Scottish independence: passport may be required to enter Scotland, and Professor Allan Findlay was quoted on CPC research in a number of articles including The Scotsman's article Scottish independence: 'Migration could rise' and STV's Scottish independence 'could lead to higher levels of migration'.

Dr David McCollum and Scott Tindal were on the panel for a Guardian Higher Education live chat on Scottish independence and its impact on higher education.

Professor John MacInnes and Dr Jeroen Spijker received wide coverage for their work, published in the BMJ, on population ageing, including this piece on the BBC website An age-old assumption.

The 'boomerang generation' continues to be a hot topic, with Professor Ann Berrington contributing to articles in The Times Kick out the boomerang generation: I left home and didn't look back and Society Central She's leaving home - bye bye: or maybe not!.

In other living arrangements coverage, Professor Berrington also provided comment for a Financial Times article Multiple family households rise in the UK, while Dieter Demey contributed an article to Society Central examining who is living alone in mid-life and why it matters.
