Overview
The United Nations World Population Day is marked every year on the 11th July. The day aims to educate the public on issues of concern and mobilise political will and resources to address global problems. As the world's primary institution for counting and mapping population trends, the UN also marks major milestones of demographic change, such as the world reaching 7 billion in 2011, and 8 billion in 2022.
CPC-CG frequently participates in marking these events by engaging in activities to share knowledge on issues facing humanity. Our activities understanding of the development and implications of population trends.
