    Overview

CPC-CG participates annually in events to promote the scientific achievements of women.

On the 11th February every year, International Day of Women and Girls in Science calls for women's full and equal access to and participation in science, and celebrates those that are leading action and innovation around the world.

Annually on the 8th March, International Women's Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.

By celebrating our women leaders, researchers and innovators in science, statistics, mathematics, economics and other, historically male dominated disciplines, we aim to showcase the value and benefit for society.
